Anotace

OBJECTIVES
The course will follow the process of the maturing of Emerson´s thinking after 1850, with personal development and changing conditions. It will examine developments and divergences from, comparisons and contrasts with, Emerson´s thinking and writing prior to 1850 - namely Nature (1836), Essays First Series (1841), and Essays Second Series (1844).
