Students are required to elaborate 1 case study of a selected patient, which will be included in the practical part of
their bachelor thesis. The diagnosis, the case study will be based on, will be assigned by the head
physiotherapist (or the deputy to the head physiotherapist) at the work place concerned on the first day the
practice starts, based on the current patients receiving the care of the institution.
Knowledge and practical skills acquired within theoretical and practical subjects taught in the 3rd year.
(The therapy effect evaluation including a conclusion refering to the prognosis in relation with the disease and a
physical state of a patient based on the comparison od initial and final kinesiologic examination results.)

Cílem odborné praxe je osvojení si základních profesních dovedností a návyků v běžném režimu výkonu povolání fyzioterapeuta, a to využitím znalostí a dovedností, kterými je student vybaven po pěti semestrech studia. Předmět zahrnuje v návaznosti na učební plány 1. – 5. semestru studia provádění fyzioterapeutických postupů, jak diagnostických tak terapeutických, při práci s pacientem pod odborným dohledem zkušeného fyzioterapeuta v klinickém zařízení. Po absolvování předmětu bude student vybaven znalostmi a dovednostmi, které mu umožní provést komplexní vyšetření pacienta, stanovit cíle a navrhnout terapeutické postupy a tyto následně aplikovat v praxi. Důraz při praxi je kladen rovněž na práci se zdravotnickou dokumentací. Výstupem je zpracování kazuistiky fyzioterapeutické péče pacienta v bakalářské práci.

The aim of the course is to equip students with such knowledge, skills and general competencies that after completing:
demonstrates the acquisition of basic professional skills and habits in the normal regime of the profession of physiotherapist
demonstrates, under the supervision of a supervisor, the ability to perform basic investigative procedures
demonstrates, under the supervision of a supervisor, the ability to prepare a comprehensive kinesiological analysis
demonstrates, under the supervision of a supervisor, knowledge of the principles of basic therapeutic procedures

the output is the elaboration of a case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient in a bachelor's thesis
