The aim of professional practice is to acquire basic professional skills and habits in the normal mode of exercise physiotherapist, using the knowledge and skills that the student is equipped after the second year of study. The subject includes the implementation of physiotherapeutic procedures, both diagnostic and therapeutic, in the work with the patient under the supervision of an experienced physiotherapist in a clinical facility. Emphasis in practice is also put on working with medical documentation.

Learning Outcomes

The aim of the course is to equip students with such knowledge, skills and general competencies that after completing:

  • demonstrates the acquisition of basic professional skills and habits in the normal regime of the profession of physiotherapist
  • demonstrates the ability to perform basic diagnostic procedures under the supervision
  • demonstrates the ability to prepare a complex kinesiological analysis under the supervision
  • demonstrates knowledge of the principles of basic therapeutic procedures
  • demonstrates the ability to apply basic therapeutic procedures under the supervision
  • demonstrates the ability to work with medical records
