Attention is paid to didactic issues of the development of primary school pupils' algorithmic thinking in the context of the development of reading and mathematical literacy and the development of skills to break down a problem into sub-problems. The inspiration for teaching approaches to the development of the computational thinking of primary school students is the work and ideas of S. Papert, I. Kalaš, M. Resnick, G. Futschek, V. Dagién and other representatives of the so-called logo culture. Attention is also paid to some risks associated with the use of digital technologies in the development of children aged 6-11.
The course is designed as interactive lectures with "CSunplugged" examples and exercises.
