Annotation -

Phytotherapy enlarges knowledge gained in Pharmacognosy. It provides students with information about the therapeutic use of herbal remedies, as well as about their efficacy and safety. It deals with the relationship between traditional and modern medicine, advantages and disadvantages of phytotherapy versus conventional medicine, and indication areas of phytotherapeuticals.
