Czech for Foreigners I – 1st year – credit requirements Czech for Foreigners I course contains everyday Czech classes and medical Czech classes. Permitted amount of absences in in-person classes is 3 for Everyday Czech and 3 for Medical Czech. Part of the course are also e-learning lessons, in which students have to work with given materials and do the homework. Credit is awarded based on passing two partial tests (so called "fast track"): midterm (in the middle of semester) and final (at the end of semester) tests (both pass 70%). The tests take place online on the Moodle 3 platform and cannot be retaken. In case of non-fulfillment of these requirements, the condition of the credit is a comprehensive credit test (success rate of at least 70%, maximum of 3 re-sittings). The credit test takes place during the examination period and is held online on the Moodle 3 platform. It is not possible to sit for the Czech Winter Credit Test and Czech Summer Credit Test on the same day. The tests for boths semesters are based on the knowledge of everyday Czech and medical Czech covered in the Czech classes during the terms (see the syllabus). Oral examination (as part of the summer credit) at the end of the first year is comprised of everyday Czech communication and basic medical Czech (requirements on Moodle 3). |
