This is a three-year single-curriculum or double-curriculum bachelor’s programme, with students required to choose a specialisation of their choice (South Slavic Studies, Albanian Studies, Romanian Studies); this enables them to concentrate on the cultural, social, historical, political and linguistic development of a South-East European region of their choice.

South East European Studies with Specialization - Romanian Studies: Graduates are equipped with knowledge and skills in practical language that correspond to the methodology and structure of language teaching according to the standards of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (B2 level competence). They are qualified to work in the multilingual environment of the region and in the corresponding EU structures with a focus on Romania. Graduates are professionally oriented towards South Eastern Europe with a specialization in Romania. Furthermore, they are adequately prepared for the requirements arising from direct communication practice, and qualified to process information directly related to Romania for the purposes of further professional use in different fields of work.
