Study programmes

The study program Teacher Education of Descriptive Geometry for Upper Secondary Schools prepares descriptive geometry teachers for secondary schools of all types. It extends the bachelor studies where the student got the fundamental expertise needed to teach descriptive geometry in upper secondary school. It includes some of the more challenging aspects of geometry (e.g. kinematical, differential, noneuclidean and algebraical geometry and cartography) as well as a professional preparation and training (e.g., pedagogical and psychological sciences, management of school, didactics of descriptive geometry and teaching practice). A wide range of optional courses and a choice of thesis topic enable the students to expand their knowledge in areas that interest them and where they want to specialise.
