SP characteristics

The Communication studies are the intersection of basic socio-scientific disciplines such as sociology, political science, psychology or culturology, but also creative in the fields of literature, film, television and new media. Taking the media in all its present and past forms (as a means of communication or
tool) as the centerpiece of these intersections. Analyzing media (whether content creation or transmission, or its perception and influence) means penetrating into the field of psychology public and commercial spheres, politics, private sphere and intimacy and it also means that student is able to penetrate the mechanisms of media logic and the influence of media, cultural and creative industries.
Due to its three specializations, the program allows the candidate / student to choose which of the journeys to the media world to go to - whether to engage in the discovery of the world with journalism tools, or to build and construct the world with marketing and PR tools or to analyze the world with media studies.

Graduate profile for the public:
The graduate demonstrates in the profundity and degree of expertise corresponding to the bachelor's degree: knowledge of social phenomena in relation to social sciences, knowledge of media types and variability in media communication in the past and present, basic knowledge of research methods and media legislation. She/he is also acquainted with the methods of analysis of the mediated social phenomena, she/he understands ethical and professional standards governing the performance of individual media professions and she/he also understands role of these professions in a given sociopolitical context. She/he is able to practically enter into media communication processes by their own creative or research activities and is aware of the impacts their actions.
