The final exam is oral and consists of 3 parts: 1. Ethology, 2. Sociobiology, 3. Analysis of a scientific article of your choice. You shall be asked to answer several questions from both ethology and sociobiology, usually 3 questions for each. You need to know at least something about each lecture’s topic. Further, for all behaviour or phenomenon it is recommended to know some examples of species/genus/clade where this behaviour occurs. For example, siblicide behaviour is typical for Spotted hyena or Cattle egret. For passing the exam, you have to pass each part separately.
