This part of the program focuses on integrity issues on several levels, and consists of two submodules, the first dealing with able bodied sport and the second with disability sport. The moral integrity of the actors (righteousness) is extensively studied as a condition for the physical, psychological and sexual integrity of the athlete and everyone involved (intactness). Students learn to critically understand human relations and power imbalances, effectively manage the integrity problems from which they arise, and creatively make use of the social and moral potential of (adapted) physical activity. Theoretical models and practical tools support the learning processes in the interconnected submodules.

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Understand and analyze issues in integrity and integrity management in sport, and its historical, socio-cultural and philosophical underpinnings.
Apply frameworks from ethical and socio-cultural studies to a series of topics in (dis) ability sports and the Paralympics.
Write coursework in the proper academic style with the correct use of English and a system of referencing.
Present and discuss findings related to athletes and other actors in able bodied and disability sports.
Understand and evaluate approaches to support and caregiving.
