Seminář je určen studentům vyšších ročníků magisterského studia, diplomantům a doktorandům doktorského studijního
oboru I1-Teoretická informatika. Cílem semináře je seznámit se s nejnovějšími poznatky z oblasti teoretické informatiky.
Obsahem semináře je studium a rešerše aktuálních časopiseckých článků a monografií, předpokládají se však i referáty o
vlastních průběžně dosahovaných výsledcích diplomantů a doktorandů.

This seminar is allocated to MSc.-students and Ph.D.-students of the doctoral study branch I1 - Theoretical Computer
Science. The goal of this advanced seminar is to get acquaint with the latest developments in the field of theoretical
computer science. The contents of the seminar is the research and study of current journal articles and monographs, but we
also expect both the MSc.-students and Ph.D.-students to present talks on their own results achieved so far.

Seminář je určen studentům vyšších ročníků magisterského studia, diplomantům a doktorandům doktorského studijního oboru I1-Teoretická informatika. Cílem semináře je seznámit se s nejnovějšími poznatky z oblasti teoretické informatiky. Obsahem semináře je studium a rešerše aktuálních časopiseckých článků a monografií, předpokládají se referáty o vlastních průběžně dosahovaných výsledcích diplomantů a doktorandů. V rámci semináře plánujeme také diskuzi aktuálních otázek (především) doktorského studia, např. dostupné zdroje informací, návrh vlastního vědecko-výzkumného projektu, možnosti studia v zahraničí apod. Podmínkou zápočtu je písemně zpracovaný referát a vlastní prezentace.

The contents of the seminar is the research and study of current journal articles and monographs and we expect both the MSc.-students and Ph.D.-students to present talks on their own results achieved so far. Throughout the seminar, we also plan to discuss common problems relevant (in particular) for Ph.D.-students, for example available sources of information, proposals of own research projects, possibilities for studies abroad etc. A condition to pass the exam is a written text summarizing the results presented in the talk and its own presentation.
