The aim is to provide the student with comprehensive foundation on which s/he can build either in research or in practice as an informed translator,or as a student in formal translation training. Attendance is compulsory, there is an oral exam based on basic reading and lectures. The basic reading list for pregraduate course attendants will be reduced.
