V průběhu předmětu jsou uplatněny prvky distančního vzdělávání. Interaktivní forma výuky umožňuje studentům uplatnit poznatky např. z historické, kulturní, religiózní, politické, fyzické a dalších disciplín geografie, z kulturních, environmentálních a hospodářských dějin, archeologie, sociologie apod. |

Cílem předmětu je představit problematiku studia české a evropské kulturní krajiny v kontextu výzkumů krajiny v humánní geografii.
Obsah přednášek a seminářů je koncipován s ohledem na požadavky SZZK v navazujících magisterských oborech: sociální geografie a regionální rozvoj, regionální a politická geografie a učitelství geografie. Absolvování předmětu by mělo studentům usnadnit přípravu k SZZK. |
