    The fee for the accepted application is non-refundable.

    Information on the admission procedure: Under Art. 4 (5) of the Admissions Procedure Code of Charles University, the faculty is to send to an applicant the invitation to an entrance examination to your e-mail address not later than 30 days before the date of the examination.

    Pursuant to Article 14 (6) of the Admissions Procedure Code, the applications for an alternative term are submitted and processed through the university's information system, the deadline for submitting the application is not later than 3 days from the date of the entrance examination.
    At the same time as submitting an application for an alternative date of entrance exam, you have to provide to the study division an original confirmation stating the reasons given in your application.

    Should the faculty send an invitation for an alternative date of the entrance examination this period may be shortened accordingly. A password to log into the electronic information system is obtained by an applicant after the applicant has submitted the application to study.
    Application form requisites: The application (electronic applonication) becomes valid after filling and closing it.

    Afterward it is required to pay the application fee CZK 940 or the equivalent in EUR

    Students wishing to be admitted to the first course of study(year) without entrance exam, are required to send a request for remission of entrance examinations together with the required documents (certificates, test results, etc.) to the Study division of the Faculty by March 15 2025 (the date of sending the application is decisive). They also should fill the online application form and tick there the option "without entrance exams".

    General information

    Information on the faculty: Charles University is the oldest Central-European University. It was founded by the Roman Emperor and Czech King Charles IV in 1348. The Third Faculty of Medicine is one of the five medical faculties of the Charles University. In the academic year 1991/1992 the Faculty introduced a medical curriculum in English language for international students, as a parallel to the curriculum in Czech language.
