      Note:

      The amount of the fee for activities related to the admission procedure (the "fee") for the admis-sion procedure for studies starting in the 2024/2025 academic year is determined as follows:

      a) 780 Kč per one application to study a Czech-language programme,
      b) 1 200 Kč per one application to study a foreign-language programme.

      Fees must be paid separately for each programme.

      The fee can be paid online or by bank transfer, deposit to the bank account or in cash at the cash at the cash desk of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.
      Applicants can monitor the status of the receipt, processing and payment of fees in their account in the information system.


      The fee is non-refundable at all stages of the admission procedure.

      There is no charge for the study of Czech-language programmes.
      The study of foreign-language programmes is subject to a fee in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Constitution of Charles University (https://cuni.cz/UK-146-version1-xi_priloha_c2_statutu_uz_oprava.pdf).

    • Description of verification and evaluation criteria

      přijímací zkouška: jednokolová, ústní obsah, předmět přijímací zkoušky: 1. odborná rozprava nad předloženým projektem disertační práce: 0–30 bodů 2. posouzení dosavadní odborné činnosti uchazeče: 0–15 bodů 3. prokázání znalostí ze studia odborné literatury: 0–15 bodů Zvolené téma uchazeč předem konzultuje s předsedou příslušné oborové rady a se svým potenciálním školitelem z Ústavu informačních studií a knihovnictví (ÚISK). Pro disertační projekt jsou vítána témata z následujících oblastí: informační chování, výzkumná data, knižní kultura, bibliometrie a nová média. Předsedou oborové rady je doc.
