Aim of this field of study is to acquaint students with leading themes in the field of ethics. Introduction to ethical theory and applied ethics within Health Care. Practical cases esp from medical ethics.

1. The student is familiar with basic ethical terminology.

2. The student understands contemporary ethical dilemmas in the health care field.

3. The student considers the most appropriate response (from a range of preselected responses) in a model situation of dialogue with a patient fearing surgery.

4 The student can formulate an appropriate response in a dialogue with a patient fearing death.

5. The student can communicate with a patient in an uncertain oncodiagnosis situation.

6. The student knows the in-demand personal qualities of the physical therapy profession.
