Lectures are dedicated to pulmonology:
Introduction to pulmonology. Examination and tests used in pulmonology. Bronchial disease. Acute and chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Bronchial asthma - aetiology, pathogenesis, differential diagnosis and new aspects of treatment. Extrinsic allergic alveolitis, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis.
Benign and malign lung tumours - aetiology, diagnostics, treatment, prognosis.
Mediastinal syndrome. Mediastinal disorders.
Acute and chronic respiratory failure. Emergency situations in pulmonology, differential diagnosis of causes in acute and chronic respiratory failure, therapeutical procedures.
Sleep apnoea syndrome - diagnostics and therapy.

Practicals take place mainly in 2nd internal department.
