Annotation -
This seminar is a follow-up chiefly to the two courses Text Linguistics and Stylistics, and Pragmatics. It consolidates, broadens and improves the knowledge and skills already gained. The seminar activities explore diverse approaches to text and discourse, which are demonstrated and applied to authentic samples of various text-types, genres, styles, registers, varieties, etc. The course provides students with analytical instruments, cultivates their stylistic sensitivity and enhances their interpretive erudition.
