Annotation -
The subject familiarizes students with specific educational problems at school, disciplinary offenses and their various manifestations, with risky behavior as such. It shows the possibilities of analyzing causes, or factors involved in their origin and development. It offers various approaches, means and methods by means of which it is possible to prevent these phenomena in schools or to solve them subsequently. The course program is based on the students' personal experience with the problematic behavior of children and youth in primary and secondary schools and the knowledge gained from previous studies.

Aim of the course -

Using knowledge from the field of social pedagogy and risky behavior, the student analyzes, assesses and evaluates model situations of problematic, risky behavior of pupils in the current school, proposes solutions and possibilities for prevention, orients himself and draws from professional literature.

Prerequisite for the course:

Passing a written test. The test contains closed and open questions on topics within the scope of the lectures and basic literature. The test verifies completion of the learning outcomes of the course with emphasis on the ability to justify answers in a professional manner.

Learning outcomes -

Using knowledge from the field of social pedagogy, the learner analyses, assesses and evaluates model situations of risky behaviour of pupils in the current school, proposes possible solutions, but above all prevention at different levels.

He/she is oriented in the current legislation, recommendations for the prevention of risky behaviour in the school environment.

Learners

explains in the context of Risk behaviour the concept of prevention in historical and current terms (National Strategy for the Prevention of RB),
specify competences and responsibilities in the implementation of PRB at individual levels (the role of the school prevention methodologist, class teacher, teacher),
are able to find and briefly describe methodological recommendations on PRB and procedures for dealing with the occurrence of risky forms of behaviour,
state and argue the content and binding nature of the school's RCH Prevention Programme, the principles of its effectiveness,
describe the possibilities of integrating PPRB into the curriculum, give concrete examples,
give options and concrete examples for incorporating PPRB into school rules,
specify the possibilities of functional rules, work with them in the context of RB prevention,
indicate the possibilities, but also the limits of working with the Individual Education Programme,,
orient themselves in the current research and knowledge in the field of PRB in the school environment.
