The course will introduce students to valid education legislation. It will specify the legal rights and obligations of educational staff, the compulsory documentation and legal regulations concerning work with children, pupils and students.

The aim of the course is to extend students? legal awareness and their knowledge of valid education legislation. It will also introduce them to the law-making process, its rules and requirements and their application and realisation in professional life.

The subject has 3 credits according to ECTS, the total time load of the student corresponds to 75 hours. Expected preparation time for 1 hour of seminar 15 minutes, self-study of literature (for the whole semester) 15 hours, work with study materials (for the whole semester) 20 hours, performance of ongoing tasks (for the whole semester) 10 hours.
