Annotation: The subject helps students to become aware of the contemporary concept of social pedagogy in our country and in the world. The focus is on social education and the pedagogy of the environment. Throughout the course students learn about leading experts in social pedagogy, analyse their social and educational activities.

The primary aim of the subject is to improve social competence of prospective educators, for them to gain knowledge and skills they can put into effect in practice in the field of preventive activities.
