Development of vision. Epidemiology of visual impairment in preschool age. Epidemiology of visual impairment in school age. Epidemiology of visual impairment in adult patients of working age. Epidemiology of visual impairment in elderly patients. Examination of visual functions and determination of type and extent of a functional disorder. Refraction, possibilities of correction of refractive errors. Interaction of visual impairment with a disability of other senses - medical view.

Syllabus

Vyšetření zrakových funkcí a stanovení  typu a míry funkční poruchy. Refrakce, možnosti korekce refrakčních vad. Interakce zrakového postižení s postižení ostatních smyslů - medicínský pohled. Funkční perspektiva u jednotlivých typů zrakového postižení. Možnosti vyšetřovacích metod v oftalmologii. Zraková rehabilitace u dětí (zrakový terapeut nebo instruktor zrakové stimulace).
