The course focuses on drama and theatre techniques that can be used effectively in teaching English as a foreign
language. In the role of actors, students experience a wide range of drama techniques ranging from improvisation activities/games to work with drama script. Towards the end of the course the students will rehearse and perform a short drama text (original or author text). Through reflecting on their experience and comparing it to their theory reading, the students become aware of the many possibilities of the approach and of the conditions for its successful exploitation.
