This course offers students a unique opportunity to deepen and reinforce their knowledge of macroscopic anatomy through hands-on dissection of human bodies or body parts. The goal is to develop manual skills in dissection, understand the topographical relationships between anatomical structures, and apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world context. Students will work in small groups under the guidance of experienced anatomists and will have the opportunity to focus on specific regions (e.g., head and neck, thorax, limbs, etc.) based on their interests. The course is particularly suitable for students interested in surgery, pathology, anatomy, or any field requiring detailed knowledge of the human body.

Předmět poskytuje studentům jedinečnou možnost prakticky si prohloubit a upevnit znalosti z makroskopické anatomie prostřednictvím samostatné pitvy lidských těl nebo jejich částí. Cílem je rozvoj manuálních dovedností při disekci, pochopení topografických vztahů jednotlivých struktur a aplikace teoretických znalostí v reálném kontextu. Studenti budou pracovat v malých skupinách pod vedením zkušených anatomů a budou mít možnost zaměřit se na specifické oblasti (např. hlava a krk, hrudník, končetiny apod.) podle svého zájmu.
Předmět je vhodný zejména pro studenty se zájmem o chirurgii, patologii, anatomii nebo jiný obor vyžadující detailní znalost lidského těla.

Teaching methods -
The course is taught in the form of an intensive practical block during winter exam period (from 02/02 to 04/02, between 1pm and 5pm). Emphasis is placed on active student participation and independent work with cadaveric material.
Teaching methods include:
Practical dissection: Students perform dissection on an assigned specimen, individually or in small groups (typically 2–3 students per specimen).
Demonstration and instruction: Dissection techniques, structure identification, and methodological steps are demonstrated by the instructor or supervisor and subsequently applied by the students.
Case-based learning: Anatomical observations are linked with their clinical significance through discussions of model cases.
Group collaboration: Team coordination in working on a shared specimen, sharing findings, and presenting anatomical structures.
Final presentation/dissection report: Summary of the dissection, documentation (photographic, written), and description of key structures with an emphasis on topographical relationships.
The block format allows students to fully concentrate on dissection, develop practical skills, and gain deeper insight into functional and clinical anatomy.

Výuka probíhá formou intenzivního praktického bloku v zimním zkouškovém období (2. 2. až 4. 2., od 13:00 do 17:00). Důraz je kladen na aktivní účast studentů a samostatnou práci s kadaverózním materiálem.
Používané výukové metody zahrnují:
Praktická disekce: studenti provádějí vlastní pitvu na přiděleném preparátu, individuálně nebo v malých skupinách (obvykle 2-3 osoby na jeden preparát).
Demonstrace a instruktáž: disekční techniky, identifikace struktur a metodický postup jsou nejprve předvedeny garantem nebo školitelem, následně aplikovány studenty.
Kazuistická výuka: propojení pozorovaných anatomických struktur s jejich klinickým významem formou diskuze nad modelovými případy.
Skupinová spolupráce: týmová koordinace při práci na společném preparátu, sdílení zjištění, prezentace anatomických struktur.
Závěrečná prezentace/pitevní protokol: shrnutí výsledků pitvy, dokumentace (fotografická, písemná) a popis hlavních struktur s důrazem na topografické vztahy.
Díky blokové formě výuky se studenti mohou plně soustředit na pitvu, osvojit si praktické dovednosti a získat hlubší vhled do funkční a klinické anatomie.
