Syllabus - Czech

The aim of this course is to get familiar with diagnostics of individual tropical parasitosis. Students will learn the difference between laboratory in Europe and equatorial Africa during 2 presentations. They will get the chance of examining blood from malaria patient and make slides from various materials. Part of the course is also discussion over interesting cases including microscopy. In practical part, the students will have the oportunity to get through whole examination process in 3 malaria patients based on real cases and 9 patients with gastrointestinal parasitic infection.
