The objective of the study is obtaining theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of Prosthetic Dentistry – patient examination with the aspect of prosthetic reconstruction of the denture, pre-prosthetic preparation of the denture and jaws, therapy using fixed or removable replacements. Interdisciplinary co-operation. Materials in prosthetic dentistry, detailed theoretical and practical knowledge of the technique of preparation of dental replacements. States of defects of the denture and basic types of dental replacements. Fixed restorations. Partially removable reconstructions. Total reconstructions. Preventive aspects of prosthetic treatment.

Case reports prepare and present the students, two times 15 minutes presentation of own case reports with discussion.The discussion is lead by the teacher due to the daily timetrable (see bellow).

Clinical Prosthodontics

1) Participation in practices - absences are tolerated according to the Operation teaching hall rules document

2) Participation in seminars  and active presentation of 8 own case reports - only 3% absence is tollerated  (sickness - confirmated by doctor, exeptional situation)

3) Passing a practical exam with the patient

Substitutions possible only after arrangement with the teacher and free capacity according to the Operation teaching hall rules document.
