Předběžná náplň práce
Náplní diplomové práce bude zejména představení mzdové a platové nerovnosti mezi muži a ženami, uvedení legislativních pramenů této problematiky a demonstrace návrhu možného řešení. Dále bude náplní práce představení přístupu Evropské unie k problematice nerovného odměňování a nalýza aktivit a iniciativ (legislativních i podpůrných), které posilují mzdovou a platovou rovnost. Cíle diplomové práce bude dosaženo také prostřednictvím uvedení českého přístupu k nerovnému odměňování, a to prostřednictvím vymezení stěžejních zásad a problematiky transparentnosti.
The thesis will mainly introduce the wage and salary inequality between men and women, it will also present the legislative sources of this issue and demonstrate the proposal of a possible solution. This objective will be achieved through the definition of each of the key theoretical concepts that are inherently linked to unequal pay, which include concepts such as equality, discrimination and gender. The author will also introduce the reader to Czech anti-discrimination legislation with a focus on fair and equal pay. Furthermore, the thesis will present the European Union's approach to the issue of unequal pay and it will outline the activities and initiatives (legislative and supportive) that strengthen wage and salary equality. The aim of the thesis will also be achieved by introducing the Czech approach to unequal pay, by defining the guiding principles and the issue of transparency. Furthermore, the potential implications for the Czech Republic resulting from the newly proposed European Union Directive to strengthen pay transparency will be analysed, together with the author's proposals for corresponding legislative changes. Finally, this initiative will be supported by listing other non-legislative (so-called "soft") activities of the Czech Republic and other entities that contribute to combating gender pay inequality.
