Zásady pro vypracování

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out a contrastive interlanguage analysis of advanced learner English of speakers with L1 Spanish, and more specifically errors these speakers commit when using articles . The theoretical part will provide a brief description of the different kinds of reference in English and of the linguistic means English employs to refer to nouns. The data for the practical part will be drawn from a selection of speakers from the Spanish subcorpus of LINDSEI. The errors will be tagged and analysed with the aim of identifying the most error-prone areas for Spanish speakers of English.
