Zásady pro vypracování

Cílem práce bude přehledné shrnutí vojenské strategie mongolských kočovníků ve 13. století a porovnání s evropskou bojovou strategií v daném období. Shromažďuje informace obsažené v historických pramenech k danému období (Tajná kronika Mongolů, Rašíd-ad-dínova Sbírka letopisů, Džuvajního Dějiny dobyvatele světa a cestopisů Rubruka, Carpiniho a Marca Pola.) Na základě shromážděných informací se pokusí o komplexní popis bojové strategie nomádů a jejího vývoje během mongolských dobyvačných válek. Současně na základě sekundární literatury porovná válečnou strategii a taktiky kočovníků se strategií a taktikami evropských vojsk ve 13. století. Součástí práce bude "simulace" hypotetické bitvy.
The aim of the thesis is clear summary of the military strategy used by mongolian nomads in 13th century and it´s comparsion with european military strategy in that period. It collects information from historical sources related to given period (The Secret History of Mongols, Rashid al-Din´s A Compendium of Chronicles, Juvaini´s History of The Conqueror, and travelogues of Rubruk, Carpini and Marco Polo.). Based on collected information it will attempt to provide complex description of military strategy used by nomads and it´s development during the conquests. At the same time it will compare military strategy and tactics of the nomad with the strategy and tactics of european amries in the 13th century based on information from secondary literature. "Simulation" of the hypothetical battle is also part of the thesis.
