Zásady pro vypracování

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu procesu, který vedl k přijetí Zákona o Britské Severní Americe a vzniku Kanadského dominia. Nejprve nastiňuje politickou, hospodářskou a kulturní situaci v před-konfederační Kanadě a původ koncepce konfederace. Práce se zabývá rolí londýnské vlády a postoji jednotlivých provincií. Dále blíže věnuje pozornost klíčovým jednáním, především konferenci v Charlottetownu a Quebecu roku 1864 a londýnské konferenci roku 1866.
