Zásady pro vypracování

Cílem této práce bude analýza osobnosti sira Francise Walsinghama a zejména pak jeho vliv na anglickou zahraniční politiku v alžbětinské éře. Současně se diplomantka zaměří na skutečnost, do jaké míry osobně (ne)ovlivňoval zahraničněpolitická rozhodnutí tehdejší panovnice Alžběty I. a tím i směřování celé země v kontextu mezinárodních vztahů. Chronologicky bude práce ohraničena 70. léty 16. století a působením sira Walsinghama jako vyslance ve Francii, následně se bude věnovat jeho činnosti v roli královnina tajemníka a aktivitám jím vybudované špionážní sítě až do jeho smrti v roce 1590.
