Zásady pro vypracování

Studentka se bude v diplomové práci zabývat tématem sebeupalování v buddhistických zemích. Uvede případy sebeupálení z historie i současnosti a poukáže na možné souvislosti. Zaměří se na otázku, jak se k sebevraždě a sebeupálení staví buddhismus, a zamyslí se také nad tím, zda se jedná o určitý předávaný kulturní vzorec, resp. co tento vzorec vyjadřuje. V porovnání s dalšími akty sebepoškozování se zaměří na otázku, jakou roli hraje z tohoto hlediska v buddhismu oheň.
