Zásady pro vypracování

Diplomová práce má za cíl podrobněji prozkoumat kolektivní identitu pražských neslyšících. První část práce bude tvořit teoretický úvod vypracovaný na základě rešerše dostupné (především zahraniční) odborné literatury týkající se osobní a kolektivní identity, zejména v užším kontextu identity neslyšících. Samotným jádrem práce bude empirická část, založená na kvalitativní metodologii polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s neslyšícími. Cílem je prozkoumat způsoby, jimiž je skupinová identita neslyšících konstruována a udržována. Určení identitotvorných prvků (zdrojů či "markerů" identity) by zároveň mělo posloužit ke zkoumání vzájemného vztahu mezi individuální identitou jednotlivých neslyšících a kolektivní identitou neslyšící komunity, resp. komunit. Důraz bude rovněž kladen na to, jakým způsobem tyto komunity fungují, jak jsou uspořádány a jakým způsobem se navenek prezentují. V práci bude konečně pojednáno o tom, jakým způsobem tato komunita vnímá slyšící majoritu, jaké vztahy s ní udržuje, a jaké stereotypizace jsou v tomto procesu uplatňovány.
