Zásady pro vypracování

Práca si kladie za cieľ analyzovať politku OSN predovšetkým počas krízy v roku 1974. K tomu bude zároveň nutné preskúmať predchádzajúce pôsobenie OSN v danej oblasti, ako aj popísať ďalšie faktory, ktoré k kľučovým udalostiam roku 1974 viedli. Práca sa preto nebude úzko zameriavať len na popísanie úsilia OSN o vyriešenie tohto dlhotrvajúceho sporu, ale bude zároveň klásť tieto pokusy do širších súvilostí. K čo najobjektívnejšiemu preskúmaniu tejto problematiky budú v práci vyuźité materiály najrôznejšieho charakteru - originálne dokumenty OSN, odborné publikácia vydané jednou zo zúčastnených strán ako aj nezaujatými pozorovateľmi, prejavy kľučových osobností tohto konfliktu, súdobé novinové články a mediálne správy ale aj publikácie zaoberajúce sa problematikou mierových operácií OSN z teoretického hľadiska.
