| Práce bude zahrnovat několik dílčích témat: globální fenomén stárnutí populace s důrazem dynamiku a dosahované úrovně, z něho vyplývající výzvy a příležitosti a také adekvátní reakce veřejných politik. Při měření populačního stáří a a stárnutí budou využity oba koncepty - tradiční a prospektivní. Výsledky popisu budou předmětem detailní komparativní analýzy. Na kritickou diskusi o příležitostech a výzvách, které stárnutí populace přináší naváže hodnocení adekvátnosti mezinárodních doporučení a prováděných politik souvisejících se stárnutím populace v dotčených zemích. |

| The thesis will cover several sub-themes: the global phenomenon of population ageing with emphasis on the dynamics and levels achieved, the resulting challenges and opportunities, as well as adequate public policy responses. Both traditional and prospective concepts will be used in measuring population age and ageing. The results of the descriptions will be the subject of a detailed comparative analysis. A critical discussion of the opportunities and challenges posed by population ageing will be followed by an assessment of the adequacy of international recommendations and policies related to population ageing implemented in the countries concerned. |
