Předběžná náplň práce

Diplomová práce porovnává dvě případové studie: francouzské a české předsednictví v Radě Evropské unie v roce 2022, konkrétně v práci na úrovni pracovní skupiny během projednávání směrnice o energetické náročnosti budov. Na základě dat z polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s aktéry obou předsednictví, předsednických programů a priorit práce zkoumá, zda se projevuje rozdílnost předsednictví s ohledem na velikost předsedajících států. Tedy zda se projevují rozdíly mezi předsednictvím velkého (Francie) a malého (Česká republika) státu a potvrzují se rozdílnosti z dosavadní literatury o debatě velikosti států a jejich chování.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The master thesis compares two case studies: the French and Czech presidencies of the Council of the European Union in 2022, specifically in the work at the working party level during the negotiation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. Based on data from semi-structured interviews with actors from both presidencies, presidency programmes and work priorities, it examines whether differences in the presidencies with respect to the size of the presidencies are evident. That is, whether differences between the presidencies of a big (France) and a small (the Czech Republic) state are manifested and whether differences from the existing literature on the debate on state size and behaviour are confirmed.
