Předběžná náplň práce

Cílem mojí práce je dle předložených hypotéz zjistit, co způsobuje demokratický deficit EU, zda se jedná o závažný problém, který by se měl řešit na evropské úrovni a pokud ano, jaké jsou možnosti jeho minimalizace či dalšího vývoje. Obě hypotézy tedy budu komparovat a analyzovat, představím k nim současný diskurz. Druhá hypotéza předpokládá, že je demokratický deficit problémem, který by se měl řešit, evropské instituce by měly projít reformou, aby se staly více demokratické a transparentní. Lze mluvit o demokratické legitimitě Evropského parlamentu? Jaké položky a procesy tedy podléhají kritice? Jaké jsou navrhované institucionální změny? Jaký by měly vliv na demokratický deficit? Došlo vlivem těchto snah k změnšení demokratického deficitu? Jaké jsou možnosti vývoje demokratického deficitu? To budou otázky mého výzkumu.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The aim of my work is to determine according to my thesis what is causing the EU's democratic deficit, whether it is a serious problem that should be addressed at the European level, and if so, what are the possibilities for minimizing or further evolvement. I will compare and analyze both hypotheses and introduce current discourse. The second hypothesis assumes that the democratic deficit is problem and the European institutions should be reformed to become more democratic and transparent. Can we talk about the democratic legitimacy of the European Parliament? What items and processes are thus subject to criticism? What are the proposed institutional changes? What affect would they have to the democratic deficit? Do these efforts have an influence to the minimalizing of the democratic deficit? What are the possibilities for further evolvement of the democratic deficit? These will be my research questions.
