| Cílem diplomové práce je na základě vhodně zvolené metodiky sestávající z kombinace terénního mapování a analýzy rozložení hnízd dvou modelových druhů (holuba hřivnáče a straky obecné) napříč základními typy krajinného pokryvu v mětském prostředí stanovit jejich hnízdní hustotu a odhadnout celkovou velikost populace na území města Prahy. |

| The aim of the diploma thesis is, based on a suitably chosen methodology consisting of a combination of field mapping and analysis of the distribution of nests of two model species (wood pigeon and common magpie) across the basic types of land-cover in the urban environment, to determine their nest density and to estimate the total size of the population in the territory of the city of Prague. |
