The thesis work will cover technical work related to the FASER tracking detector [1] calibration, writing software to allow easy access and comparison of the calibration results, which is important to assess that the detector is working properly and with optimal performance. The thesis will also cover tracker performance studies with the first collision data. This will involve studying low level quantities such as the detector multiplicity, as well as track based information such as the residuals and efficiency.
