Vzhledem k válečným akcím v 90. letech na území Bosny a Hercegoviny a západního Balkánu obecně ovlivnil masový exodus pronásledovaných osob založení příslušné bosenské diaspory. Podle Ministerstva pro lidská práva a uprchlíky v Bosně a Hercegovině má celosvětová diaspora Bosny a Hercegoviny asi 2 miliony lidí ve více než 50 zemích, což přirozeně vedlo k vytvoření trans-místních komunit. Tato práce se zaměří na několik základních výzkumných okruhů: vliv trans-lokálních komunit v diaspoře na současný trend emigrace z Bosny a Hercegoviny, důvody emigrace, proces rozhodování o tom, kam se konkrétně přestěhovat, na existenci místní komunity dané diaspory a její ovlivnění rozhodovacího procesu, zkoumání výhod života v místní komunitě. Případové studie budou provedeny ve vybraných evropských městech pomocí interview.

Due to the war actions in the 90s on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Western Balkan in general, the mass exodus of people being persecuted influenced the establishing the bosnian diaspora. According to the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Bosnian worldwide diaspora numbers about 2 million people spread across more than 50 countries, which naturally led to the formation of trans-local communities. This thesis will focus on the influence of trans-local communities in the diaspora on the current trend of emigration from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which emerged in the last 10 years. The main research topics include - reasons for emigration, the process of decision making on where to move, existence of the trans-local community in a city and its impact on the decision-making process and exploring the benefits of living in the trans-local community. Case studies will be carried out in selected European cities via interviews.
