Předběžná náplň práce

Bakalářská práce „Analýza neefektivity americké rozvojové pomoci na Haiti v oblasti infrastruktury po roce 2010“ si klade za cíl na základě vybraných rozvojových teorií prokázat neefektivní postupy Agentury Spojených států amerických pro mezinárodní rozvoj v rámci tří vybraných projektů, které byly realizovány v reakci na zemětřesení v roce 2010, které Haiti postihlo a zdevastovalo velkou část země. Autor své argumenty opírá o informace získané z knižní literatury věnující se tématu a sekundárních zdrojů, dále pak z primárních zdrojů, zejména ze zpráv amerického Nejvyššího kontrolního úřadu. Získané informace o chybných krocích agentury jsou aplikovány na teorii rozvojové pomoci, čímž je provedena analýza neefektivity jejích postupů. Závěr práce ukazuje, že hypotéza o neefektivitě v oblasti infrastruktury byla na základě zanalyzovaných informací aplikovaných na teorii pravdivá.

The bachelor's thesis, "An Analysis of the Ineffectiveness of U.S. Development Assistance in Haiti's Infrastructure after 2010," aims to use selected development theories to demonstrate the ineffective practices of the United States Agency for International Development in three selected projects that were implemented in response to the 2010 earthquake that struck Haiti and devastated much of the country. The author bases his arguments on information obtained from books on the subject and secondary sources, as well as primary sources, in particular reports from the US Government Accountability Office. The information gathered about the agency's missteps is applied to the theory of development aid, thereby analyzing the ineffectiveness of its practices. The conclusion of the paper shows that the hypothesis of inefficiency in infrastructure was true based on the analyzed information applied to the theory.
