Zásady pro vypracování |
The goal of this thesis is to implement an application for automatic creation of building geometry from GIS data, e.g., building outlines (floor plans). The program should obtain building outline, user parameters, e.g., height, roof type, etc., and create a plausible 3D model of the building geometry bound by the building outline and input parameters. Produced models should be usable for vast urban areas visualizations such as flight simulation etc. Therefore the models should contain plausible facade and roof texturing and should be optimized for low polygon count and minimal GPU context switching.
The application should output the generated models in some known 3D format and should also contain simple 3D model viewer to let the users inspect the results and tweak the input parameters. The source code has to be well commented and supplemented with detailed user and programmer's documentation. |
