Entelegynni pavouci se vyznacuji znacnou stabilitou karyotypu. U vetsiny entelegynnich skupin je karyotyp tvoren nizkym poctem akrocentrickych chromozomu. Presto nektere skupiny vykazuji znacnou dynamiku karyotypu. Cilem prace bude objasnit chromozomove zmeny, ktere se podilely na diverzifikaci karyotypu u techto skupin. Metody analyzy budou zahrnovat i pristupy molekularni biologie a molekularni fylogenetiky. Hlavni pozornost bude venovana nadceledi Araneoidea.

Karyotypes of entelegyne spiders are very stable. Karyotype of most entelegyne clades is formed by a low number of acrocentric chromosomes. However, some entelegyne groups exhibit considerable karyotype dynamics. Aim of the thesis will be to elucidate chromosome rearrangements that took part in karyotype diversification of these groups. Analysis will include approaches of molecular cytogenetics and molecular phylogeny. The principal model group will be the superfamily Araneoidea.
