V praktické části práce budu sledovat příspěvky těchto webů k tématu českých voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny, které by měly proběhnout v říjnu 2017. |

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the topic of media manipulation and disinformation warfare in the context of an election. Over the past few years, a new breed of discussions about the influence of disinformation on political affairs has emerged. The aim of the diploma thesis is to investigate whether any disinformation tendencies or manipulative techniques have spread over the Czech media landscape during the Parliamentary election in 2017. In the first part of this work, the author will provide a theoretical background to the topic, including an explanation of the essential terms and current context of these phenomena. The second part includes the content analysis (complemented by hermeneutic text analysis) that is applied to selected news websites. As the result, the diploma thesis is supposed to provide the data about the source of information, the genre of the articles and specific manipulative techniques used in the selected media. |
