Předběžná náplň práce

This master’s thesis deals with evaluation of the impact on economy of Ukraine after potential integration to the European Union. It examines how main macroeconomic indicator such as GDP will change after potential economic shock. It also focuses on comparative analysis of countries in CEE region, how economy of other countries developed after EU integration. All methods firstly applied on CEE countries and only after that tested on economy of Ukraine. In this work it is clearly stated why we can compare Ukraine and countries out of CEE region.
Using the Synthetic Control Method, I would like to highlight the developments of this field during the last years.
The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the potential impact and to define whether it is beneficial for Ukraine to join EU. Also, to add some inputs to this topic as it is very popular for both counterparts, for Ukraine on one hand and for European Union on the other. More detailed information and conclusions you can find in the last part of this work.
