Cílem projektu bude otestovat predikce z atraktorové teorie dysfunkce neuronálních sítí u těchto dvou poruch v animálním modelu a u lidských pacientů.

Pathogenesis of most neuropsychiatric disorders remains elusive. Resarchers now consider distortion of memory processing at the level of neuronal populations and brain structures as its key component due to altered connectivity and neurotransmitters disbalantions. Project which will student work on is aimed on multidisciplinary and translational tests of hypothesis of shallow and deep atractors in schizophrenia and obsessive-compulsive disorder in animal models. Here we focus on studying behaviour, pharmacology, electrophysiology and molecular imaging of early genes. Also we will use brain imaging techniques in patients with schizophrenia and obsessive-compulsive disorders. The aim of this project will test predictions from atractor theory of disfunction of neuronal nets in these two disorders in animal model and in human patients.
