| Cílem této práce je definovat a porovnat přístupy jednotlivých aktérů v Jihočínském moři k čínské U-shaped line a to především se zaměřením na oblast surovinovou, energetickou, bezpečnostní a právní. Dále se práce zaměří na to, zda jsou nároky daných aktérů legitimní. |

| This thesis focuses on defining and comparing the approaches of individual states in the South China Sea with the Chinese U-shaped line. It specifically concentrates on the area of resources, security and law. The thesis will also focus on the legality of claims of each state. |
