Předběžná náplň práce

Reflexe druhé světové války se ve francouzské kinematografii značně proměňovala od doby bezprostředně po osvobození až do současnosti. Z širšího hlediska se francouzská kinematografie genocidě židovských obyvatel za druhé světové války věnuje spíše v menší míře, a to až od určitého období, kdy ve francouzské společnosti začala padat některá tabu týkající se okupace a kolaborantství. Existují publikace na téma zobrazení války ve francouzském filmu i konkrétně samotného zobrazení a zpracování šoa, avšak má práce by se měla hlavně zaměřit na to, do jaké míry se francouzský film zabývá podílem vichystického režimu na deportacích a perzekucích židovských obyvatel. Měla by odpovědět na otázku, jaké byly způsoby zobrazování této problematiky během druhé poloviny 20. století a jak se proměňovaly. Hlavním cílem práce by mělo být zmapování a analýza stěžejních francouzských poválečných filmů zabývajících se problematikou šoa a zpřesnit již vytvořenou periodizaci tohoto tématu. Práce by tak zároveň měla přinést odpověď na otázku, do jaké míry si francouzská kinematografie připouští podíl Francouzů na šoa v jednotlivých obdobích mezi lety 1945 a 2010.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The Reflection of the Second World War in French cinema has been changing a lot since the liberation of France. From the larger point of view, French film makers dedicate less interest to the topic of the Holocaust in general. In fact, they have started to pay more attention to it from a certain period, when some of the taboos concerning collaboration and occupation of Vichy France had fallen. Several academic works describe portraying of the Holocaust in general but my thesis should concentrate more specifically on the portraying of Vichy´s involvment in this tragedy. It should bring an answer to the question of what were the ways of imaging this topic during the second half of the 20th century and how they changed. From this analysis, the thesis should then specify the already made periodisation of this topic. The thesis should then bring the conclusion on to which extent French cinema recognize the participation of French in the Holocaust.
