Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí; první shrnuje zajímavou historii francouzského školského systému, zatímco druhá část rozvíjí teorie tří velkých myslitelů: Henriho Wallona, Pierra Bourdieu a Christopha Delaye.

This study, which is based on historical facts describes how various factors influence a person’s decision concerning his/her studies; these factors may go from family, circle of friends, social status and even economic or political situation. This work is divided into two parts; the first one sums up the interesting history of the French education system, while the second part develops the theories of three great thinkers: Henri Wallon, Pierre Bourdieu and Christophe Delay, each of whom managed to become the representative of a different period by proposing his own attitude about the situation in french schools.
